For degree/academic transcript from the University of Queensland (UQ) without Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) authentication seal, the authentication procedure is as follows:
As UQ states in the website disclaimer that the University does not warrant or represent the accuracy, currency and completeness of any information or material available on its website, overseas authentication applicants with UQ degree/academic transcript are required to apply for Verification of Award (VA). We do not accept online verifications.
For UQ graduates applying for authentication from outside of Australia, please apply for Manual Verification of Award (VA) to UQ first and ask UQ to email or post the verification result directly from UQ to our office. At the same time, please post all the following required documents to our office.
- Complete and sign Authentication Application Form
- Complete and sign Overseas Post Checklist
- A photocopy of your valid passport
- A photocopy of your degree (Please note: If you are also applying for authentication of your transcript, please apply at UQ for a new transcript to be issued and posted to our office directly from UQ)
- Fee: AU$22 per document (For example, if you would like to have both the degree and the transcript authenticated, the authentication fee would be $22 x 2 = $44)
- Postage: Please refer to Australia Postage List for details or arrange for your own prepaid courier service to pick up from our office.
Payment method:
For postal applications, we only accept Bank Draft payable to "Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Brisbane" in Australian Dollars.
Please send the above No.1~6 to our office and ask UQ to send the Verification of Award to our office. Your documents will be authenticated within 5 business days after we receive the verification result from UQ and the application documents from you.
