Taipei Youth Folk Sports Group visits Penang, Klang and Johor Bahru, Malaysia from July 20 to July 29 to showcase Taiwan’s Folk Sports.
Mr. James Buu, the Deputy Representative of TECO in Malaysia, attended the event on July 24, 2024 at Sekolah Menengah Chung Hua Klang to show the supports for the group members. He said that with these children’s superb skills and outstanding team reputation, it has showcased Taiwan’s folk sports on the international stage, and promoted cultural exchange.
Over the past three decades, the Taipei Youth Folk Sport Group has brought Taiwan to the world’s attention. The Group has conducted a successful show on July 22 at Penang and will be visiting its last stop in Malaysia on July 26 at Foon Yew High School - Seri Alam.
