Representative Phoebe Yeh Visits Sin Chew Daily, forwarding a Force for Good from Taiwan

Representative Yeh of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia(TECO) visited Sin Chew Daily headquarters Thursday, September 21, 2023. She has the opportunity to exchange views on a number of matters with Sin Chew Daily Editor-in-Chief Kuik Cheng Kang and its senior management members. Ever since Representative Yeh assumed her assignment in January this year, she is endeavoring to bring this good “Taiwan” brand to friends in Malaysia and to make sure voices of Taiwan being heard and strengths of Taiwan being seen. Representative Yeh also expressed her admiration for Sin Chew Daily upholding the principles of journalism for more than 90 years. Its significant contributions to Malaysian Chinese society, literature and culture is well recognized. Sin Chew Daily also has played an important role in promoting the long standing cultural and educational ties between Taiwan and Malaysia. TECO and Sin Chew Daily have serval collaboration projects, which are widely welcome by people from both sides. Meanwhile, TECO is willing to help Sin Chew Daily to combat misinformation and disinformation by providing timely and accurate facts.
