Director General Kendra Chen Attends Opening Ceremony of Overseas Chinese Language Teachers' Seminar, Encourages Participants

The "2024 Overseas Chinese Language Teachers' Seminar," supported by the Overseas Community Affairs Council and organized by the Taiwanese Hwa Hsia Society of New Zealand, was held at the Huaxia Hall on July 10th and 11th. Mr. Ou Xiqiang Tulun, Director of the Chinese e-Learning Center at National Open University, and Ms. Yu-Chi Kuo from the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at USC, delivered lectures during the event. Director General Chen, accompanied by Division Director for Overseas Community Affairs Council Chiu Ya-fen, attended the opening ceremony and delivered words of encouragement to the participants, emphasizing their dedication and passion in teaching Chinese language. The seminar attracted nearly 50 participants including teachers and parents from mainstream schools and local overseas schools. After 1.5 days of sessions, all participants expressed great satisfaction with the knowledge gained.
