“2025 Taoyuan International Art Award” (TIAA), organized by the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (TMoFA) opens global call for entries online from April 1 to 26, 2024.
The competition is open to participants of all nationalities, ages, individuals or groups. Works must be new pieces presented to the public for the first time and have never entered government-organized competitions in Taiwan. The selection process is open to all categories of artwork and embraces various artistic mediums.
Since its repositioning in 2020, the “Taoyuan International Art Award” has continued to champion the experimental and innovative ethos in contemporary art and redefined itself with an international jury panel, award strategy, and marketing efforts, driving the diverse development of contemporary art, strengthening international art and cultural exchanges, and consolidating the base for artistic research and creation.
TIAA stands as a biennial exhibition, with one year for entry submission worldwide and one year for the exhibition, so artists can have ample time for work creation and exhibition planning. The award aims to transcend geographical boundaries and attract artists of different nationalities, regions, backgrounds, ages, and in various stages of their artistic careers.
