On Nov. 8, 2016, Ms. Elisa Hsiang-Yueh Wang, Head of Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Austria, personally awarded the certificates of merit to the children. To appropriate the occasion, the school had arranged for a little ceremony. Ms. Wang thanked the principal Miss Gabriele Poinstingl and the teachers for participating in the contest. In turn, Miss Poinstingl thanked the Education Division for giving the school the opportunity to take part in the contest. Additionally, teachers stated their excitement of having been able to participate in a worldwide competition.
While awarding the certificates, each student beamed with pride at receiving an honour and a key chain made out of Chinese culture styled porcelain and engraved metal, featuring the Chinese characters for “Taiwan”. To acknowledge the hard work of everybody, apart from the three Selected certificates, the Education Division also gave out participation certificates to all children. This gesture made sure that the ceremony was a joyous moment for everyone and made all children excited to participate in the contest again next year.
