Welcome to the Study in Taiwan E-Newsletter 2022 January Edition

In the January edition of its ‘Study in Taiwan’ E-newsletter, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Australia introduces that the Ministry of Education (MOE) is opening its Huayu Enrichment Scholarship and Taiwan Scholarship to be available for Australian applications.

An article titled Taiwan Foreign English Teacher Program outlines a government sponsored program launched by MOE, currently recruiting qualified Foreign English teachers and teaching assistances to teach in Taiwan’s public schools at all levels.

Another article is My Time in Taiwan featured Sam Wade, who studies in Taiwan in 2019 through Huayu Enrichment Scholarship. Sam shared his real-life story about his study experiences in Taiwan. He now studies a double bachelor of International relations and economics at the Australian National University and hopes to return to Taiwan on exchange in 2023.
