Ambassador Hsu Attends R.O.C. (Taiwan) National Day Flag Raising Ceremony in Western Australia

On October 6th, Ambassador Douglas Hsu and Mrs. Hsu participated in the annual R.O.C. (Taiwan) National Day flag raising ceremony in Western Australia.
In his address, Ambassador Hsu expressed gratitude to the Taiwanese communities in Western Australia for their dedicated efforts in strengthening Taiwan-Australia partnerships and fostering bilateral cultural exchanges. He highlighted the recent success of the "Taiwan Yes!" Taiwan Night Market event held on September 15th, which drew nearly 5,000 attendees and received widespread acclaim.
Ambassador Hsu further emphasized Taiwan's notable progress in democracy and economic development over the past year. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) to support the Taiwanese community in Australia and encouraged closer collaboration between the community and TECO.
During the event, Ambassador and Mrs. Hsu engaged with attendees and extended their appreciation to the Taiwanese Association of Western Australia (TAWA) and the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Western Australia (TCCWA) for organizing this meaningful celebration.
