Last year, Australia youth delegation formed by the Australia-Taiwan Future Leaders Association joined the 2017 Global Youth Trends Forum in Taipei. Applications for this year’s Forum are announced and now open for expression of interest until 30 of June.
The Youth Development Administration of the Ministry of Education in Taiwan invites Australian citizens, aged 18 - 35 to participate in the 2018 Global Youth Trends Forum. This forum will take place in Taipei from 30 of October to 6 of November 2018.
The 2018 Forum will focus on the following topics:
- Global Office – Talent Mobility Beyond Borders
- Be a World Traveler – Grand Tour Globally
- Speak Up for Our Future – Participation in Society and the World
The Forum will also arrange travelling to Hualien and eastern Taiwan for tours and to Taipei for tours and the Forum. The Australian delegation will be presenting and discussing these topics with delegations from many other countries and sharing the Australian youth perspective on the topics.
What assistance is offered by organiser?
All costs including insurance, meals, accommodation etc. are covered except for delegates airfares which they are required to cover themselves.

Applicants are invited by Australia Taiwan Youth Association (ATYA) through its Facebook network to send a brief statement confirming they meet the eligibility criteria and outlining their past experience in youth affairs, volunteering, any relevant work experience, their academic qualifications and current occupation/degree and also any other relevant information by 30 of June to info.atfla@gmail.com
