Authentication of Documents Translated in Chinese
1、 Please provide the original document, already authenticated by our office, along with the translated document.
2、 Walk-in applicants must sign the translated document before our consular officer. (by appointment)
3、 Postal- applicants are required to have the translated document notarized by WA or ACT Notary Public (From the state where the document was issued) and post with accompanying documents to our office.

4、A photocopy of your valid passport (Photocopy of ID must be certified by Justice of Peace)
5、Download and complete an application form for document authentication
6、Fees: AUD 22 per copy. (Expedited service suspended )Expedited service for urgent applications can be requested by paying an additional 50% of the regular fee, which is AUD11 per copy. Payment must be made in cash (not for mailing applications), bank cheque or money order and payable to the “Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Australia”.
*Personal Bank cheque and online bank transfer will NOT be accepted.
7、Prepaid envelope for return of documents: Applications lodged by post or courier should also include self-addressed postage prepaid envelope (Express Post Platinum, Express Post and Registered Post B4 size(353mm×250mm)only) or courier satchel for the return of documents.
Please note:
1. Translation of document must be word by word. We do not review the content of the document. All personal data recorded on the document must be correct before its submission.
2.Translated documents can be notarized by a Republic of China (Taiwan) courthouse as long as the original document has been authenticated by one of our overseas TECO offices.
3.The office is only verified if the signature is true on Translated documents.
