The Taiwan Fellowship Programme is established and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to award foreign experts and scholars who are interested in researches in the fields related to Taiwan, Asia-Pacific region and Sinology to conduct advanced research at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan.
It is worth noting that research themes of 2019 Taiwan Fellowship Programme would focus more on topics relevant to Taiwan’s foreign policy─i.e. Taiwan’s participation in regional economic cooperation, enhancement of global and regional connection, “New Southbound Policy,” Fake News, Gender Issues and security issues in Asia and the Pacific.

After completing online application, please mail the following application documents by June 30, 2019 to Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Melbourne, Australia (Address: Level 46, 80 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 Australia):
- The copy of application form
- Resume(including a publication list)
- Research Proposal
- Two letters of recommendation or one letter of recommendation and one letter of agreement from the highest administrative director of your institute
