Parliamentary Delegation (Deputy Speaker Joe Kelly, James Martin MP, John-Paul Langbroek MP and Michael Hart MP) visited Taiwan. Queensland is an important partner in trade, peace and democracy for Taiwan
The delegation starting with meetings with the Australian Representative Jenny Bloomfield and the Deputy Foreign Minister Chung Chung Kwan Tien, visited Yuteh Private International School that uses the Queensland Curriculum; National Government Ministries of Energy, Trade and National Development; Taipei City Government; as well as renewable energy, health, clean transport, bio med and semi-conductor businesses. The delegation also visited the Hsinshu Science Park, including the very impressive Industrial Technology Research Institute and a tour of the Legislative Yuan.
