The "Brisbane Taiwan Charity Concert" took place on July 20 at SunPac. The performers included the "Chia Yin Chamber Orchestra" from Kaohsiung, the De Sheng Ensemble, and the A-Team Saxophone Ensemble, delivering an exceptional performance.
Australian Senator Paul Scar, Member of Parliament Scott Buchholz, Queensland Deputy Speaker Joe Kelly, State Members Corrine McMillan and James Martin, and Deputy Speaker of BCC, Cr Steven Huang attended the grand event. Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner and Lady Mayoress also extended their congratulations via video message.
Director-General Fan expressed gratitude to Mr. Wayne Ko, the Chief President of Distinguished Citizens Society Australia, for his active coordination and efforts in organizing the concert. He also acknowledged the united efforts and generous sponsorships of various community groups and related units that contributed to the successful and smooth execution of this grand event.
Chief President Ko donated the ticket proceeds of 5,000 AUD to the "The Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust," with Deputy Speaker Steven Huang accepting on behalf of the Lord Mayor Schrinner.
