This sister hospital partnership was established in 2021, thanks to the advocacy of Ambassador Bruce Hung and Mr. Luca Fu of YFG Shopping Centres.
Director-General William Fan has also mentioned on multiple occasions at events and in the media recently that the sister hospital relationship between Taiwan's Taiwan Adventist Hospital and Mater Hospital represents a significant milestone in the healthcare sector. This partnership has strengthened cooperation and exchanges in health and medical care between the two sides, providing the best healthcare services for the people of Queensland and the Taiwanese community.
