On April 8, Director Chiu Chung-Chuan of the Water Resources Bureau, Tainan City Government, led a delegation to Australia to study local sewerage systems and sludge treatment at water recycling centres. The visit aimed to gain insight into Australia’s advanced practices in water resource management and sustainability.
As part of the trip, Director Chiu visited the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Brisbane and met with Director-General William Fan. The two engaged in a productive discussion on enhancing Taiwan-Australia cooperation in water technologies, sustainable development, and urban infrastructure.
