New Taipei City Senior High School Visits Queensland for STEAM Education Exchange
From 20 to 31 October, Ms. Tsai Ya-An and Ms. Yang Chieh-Hsuan led a delegation from New Taipei Municipal New Taipei Senior High School to Queensland for a STEAM education exchange with Burpengary State Secondary College. The program included workshops on STEAM learning, smart automation, and robotics, fostering creativity and collaboration between students and promoting internationalized STEAM education.
This follows the Queensland Department of Education’s visit to Taiwan in December last year, continuing the strong ties between the two sides through educational exchanges.
On 27 October, Director-General William Fan and Director Wei were invited to meet the visiting group at Brisbane’s South Bank Parklands. Director-General Fan encouraged both Taiwanese and Australian students to learn from each other in areas such as language, science, technology, arts, and engineering, expanding their global perspectives while discovering diverse cultural experiences. He expressed hope that such exchanges will continue to enrich the friendship between Taiwan and Australia and inspire future educational collaboration.
