On 6 February 2026, Director-General Lu Ming-Tse of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Melbourne attended the opening ceremony of the new headquarters and logistics facility of Synnex Technology International’s Australian subsidiary, Synnex Australia, and participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking an important milestone in the company’s investment in Australia.
Established in Melbourne in 1997, Synnex Australia has long been a key ICT distribution partner in Australia and New Zealand, providing integrated solutions across hardware, software, cloud services, and supply chain management to a wide range of local business partners. The new facility, featuring automated warehousing and smart logistics systems, is expected to enhance local logistics capability, support job creation, and strengthen supply chain operations in the Australian market.
Speaking at the event, Director-General Lu noted that Synnex’s continued expansion reflects the long-term confidence of Taiwanese enterprises in the Australian market and contributes to closer industrial and supply chain cooperation between Taiwan and Australia.
