TECO in Melbourne Attends Celebration of H.M. the Emperor of Japan’s 66th Birthday

A representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Melbourne attended the celebration of H.M. the Emperor of Japan’s 66th Birthday on 17 February and conveyed congratulations to Consul-General Furuya, at an event held in Toorak, Melbourne with diplomatic, government, and business attendees.
Taiwan and Japan have long established relations based on shared values of freedom, democracy, and the rule of law, and maintain close cooperation across trade, technology, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. This enduring friendship and mutual trust are also reflected in substantive cooperation and grassroots interactions.
As our like-minded partnership continues to deepen, the Office looks forward to fostering further dialogue and exchange, strengthening local engagement and practical collaboration between Taiwan and Japan.
