Director General David Cheng-Wei Wu Attended the Graduation Ceremony at the James Ruse Campus of Sydney Taiwanese School

Director General David Cheng-Wei Wu was honoured to attend the graduation ceremony at the James Ruse Campus of Sydney Taiwanese School, alongside newly elected Willoughby City Councillor Michelle Chuang, Angel Yang, Vice President of the Taiwanese Association in Australia, and C.S. Lee, the parents’ representative of the JR Campus. Together, they congratulated the graduates on successfully completing this stage of their academic journey.
In his speech, Director Wu praised the graduates’ outstanding performance, attributing it to the dedicated efforts of Dr. Betty Liu, Principal of Sydney Taiwanese School and the teachers as well as the tireless support of parents who take their children to classes every weekend. He highlighted the school’s success in promoting Mandarin education, preserving Taiwanese culture, and fostering students’ character development. DG Wu encouraged the graduates to continue their Mandarin studies and leverage their skills in Australia’s multicultural society.
Representatives of the graduates delivered speeches to express heartfelt gratitude to the teachers for their dedication and to their parents for their unwavering support allowing them to connect with Taiwanese culture and discover their roots.
