Director General David Cheng-Wei Wu and Mrs. Wu attended the year-end Christmas dinner hosted by the DCS International of NSW, Australia on 13 December 2024. In his speech, DG Wu expressed gratitude to President Aven Lin and her team, as well as to the President of the DCS International of Australia and Oceania, Richard Lu, for their dedication and contributions over the past year.
He praised the DCS team for being not only united but also actively supporting the Taiwanese community and demonstrating the support to people in need. DG Wu believes that DCS will continue to play a positive role in uniting the Taiwanese community in the future.
President Lin also thanked all the board members, advisors, and friends who have participated in DCS. She mentioned that the many activities held this year have received enthusiastic responses and expressed hopes for continued support in 2025. President Lu shared the background of the establishment of the DCS International and thanked the strong support from various community groups in organizing this year’s second Charity Concert. He sincerely hopes for more opportunities in the future to collaborate on events, showcasing the love and care from Taiwan.
