On September 13 2010 the Economic Division of the Taipei Representative Office organized a get-together for Taiwanese companies with a presence in Belgium hosted by Mr. David Y. L. Lin, Representative of the Taipei Representative Office. Quite a number of Taiwanese companies including Eva Air, Evergreen Shipping Agency, MITAC, China Airlines, TSMC, Macronix, Wang-Li Company, R & G Equipment, United Taiwan Bank,Yang Ming Shipping, Uni-Assur and Lin and Company, took part in the event. Mr. David Y. L. Lin and the Director of the Economic Division, Mr. Kuang-Yu (Colin) Chang delivered the welcome remark and presented the latest developments of EU and Taiwan relations, and also provided statistics on bilateral investment and trade for participants’ reference. All the companies then introduced their businesses and were given the opportunity to exchange opinions between each other.
