Deputy Representative Yang met with the delegation of the Association Luxembourg-Taiwan R.O.C.

Sylvie Hoschet, Secretary of the Association Luxembourg-Taiwan R.O.C., led a group of 20 members of the association on a visit to the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium, September 22. The group was warmly received by Deputy Representative Yang, along with other functionaries from the Office’s Parliamentary, Economic, Science and Technology, and Education Divisions. During the visit, Deputy Yang delivered a briefing on the current state of Taiwan-Luxembourg relations. All in all, the meeting lasted for more than one hour and the two sides enjoyed a pleasant exchange of views.

Association Luxembourg-Taiwan R.O.C. was established in Luxembourg in March 1988. It has aimed to develop relations between Taiwan and Luxembourg and deepen social and cultural exchanges between the two sides. Currently, there are roughly 200 registered members from all walks of life, including Members of the European Parliament, Members of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies, economists, and academics.
