Joyfully celebrating Lunar New Year by attending Reception in Luxembourg on February 9

On February 9, Ambassador Roy Chun LEE, together with colleagues from the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium, celebrated the Lunar New Year of the Snake with the Taiwanese community in Luxembourg. And the Office also offered Lunar New Year Ornaments, which gave the event a joyful Spring Festival atmosphere.
In his speech delivered at the event, Ambassador LEE encouraged the community to invite more European friends to travel to Taiwan so that they can experience the true stories of Taiwan firsthand. A total of around 70 participants exchanged warm greetings, enjoyed the celebrations, and offered their best wishes for our beloved Taiwan.
In addition, our office staged the Operation Consular Service after the event in the same place. Our staff assisted overseas Taiwanese with applying for passports for the first time, renewing original passports, and providing various consular affairs consultations. The efforts were well received and appreciated by the overseas Taiwanese.
