【Notice】Beware of Fake Sites! —Online Taiwan Arrival Card is FREE
分享到
Members of the public have reported fraudulent websites impersonating the official "Taiwan Arrival Card" (TWAC) system—such as the site named “TAIWAN ONLINE ARRIVAL CARD”—which charge users approximately USD 29.60 or other fees under the pretense of assisting with entry registration. These scams may lead to personal data breaches and financial loss.
• The National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior of Taiwan updated the TWAC online system on May 5, 2025, and has reaffirmed that the service is entirely free of charge. All travelers and overseas nationals are advised to complete the TWAC only via the official website: https://twac.immigration.gov.tw
• We also encourage all travelers to Taiwan to fill out the TWAC online form prior to arrival, in order to save time at passport control and facilitate a smoother entry process.
How to identify the official website:
• The domain ends with “gov.tw” and uses HTTPS encryption (a padlock icon appears in the browser address bar).
• No credit card or any form of payment is ever requested.
• After submission, only a download/print confirmation option is provided.
• The official page displays the name: “National Immigration Agency, R.O.C. (Taiwan).”
