On 22 Feburary, Ambassador Shieh and Mrs. Shieh attended the annual Lunar New Year banquet hosted by the Association Luxembourg-Taiwan R.O.C. and rang in the Year of the Horse together with friends of Taiwan in Luxembourg.
Mr. Yves Berna, President of the Association, opened his remarks in Mandarin. He reviewed the achievements of Taiwan–Luxembourg exchanges over the past year and expressed his hope to further promote youth and student exchanges in the year ahead.
During his remarks, Ambassador Shieh thanked the Association for its steadfast support for Taiwan over nearly four decades and compared the Association to the four strong legs of a horse, providing firm support for the steady advancement of Taiwan–Luxembourg relations. The ambassabor further expressed his hope for further cooperation and exchanges between two sides going forward.
