The Embassy extends its congratulations to Taiwan Defense Scholarship awardees, including Lieutenant Commander Alma Pinelo and Seaman Rasheed Broaster of Belize Coast Guard (BCG), and Cadet Gabriela Cowo of Belize Defence Force (BDF), to study in Naval Command & General Staff College, Naval Academy and Army Academy respectively in Taiwan. Today, in the witness of Rear Admiral Elton Bennett, Commandant of BCG, and Colonel Anthony Velasquez, Deputy Commander of the BDF, the Embassy took this opportunity to present the scholarship certificates to these excellent military officers, and gave them the best wishes for academic success and joyful life in Taiwan.
