Taiwanese Youth Arrive in Belize for a New Journey!

A warm welcome to Belize! Six young participants of Taiwan’s “Global Pathfinders Initiative” arrived on September 1, excited to begin their journey of learning, discovery, and friendship in Belize.
Over the coming weeks, they will be spending time with our local partners: the Turneffe Atoll Sustainability Association (TASA), Belize Audubon Society (BAS), Protected Areas Conservation Trust (PACT), Belmopan City Council, Belize City Council, and Orange Walk Town Council.
From environmental conservation and sustainable development to local governance and community life, each placement will offer a different way to experience and get to know Belize!
Ambassador Amino Chi welcomed the group over dinner, encouraging them to step outside their comfort zones, learn from the people around them, and enjoy every part of the experience.
We hope their time here will be filled with new experiences, new friendships, and plenty of wonderful Belizean memories to bring home. Most of all, we are happy to see another group of young people helping bring Taiwan and Belize even closer together.
