Mosaic Taiwan 2026 is open for applications for Canadians who reside in QC, NB, NL or Nunavut from Feb. 12 to March 11, 2026. It is not a summer camp, but an incredible opportunity for those who are truly eager to experience Taiwan firsthand!
Mosaic Taiwan is a fellowship exchange program for promising young leaders from the US and Canada hoping to gain firsthand experience of Taiwan, providing participants the opportunity to better understand Taiwan's culture and society and to have a chance to be networking with North American young leaders. The working language in this program will be English; therefore, all application materials, including reference letters, should be in English. This year's program will run from June 15 to 26, 2026. Participants will take part in team-building and leadership development exercises, as well as workshops, forums, and lectures on topics concerning Taiwan. There will be also visits to business and NGOs, as well as tours of scenic sites around the island. Mosaic Taiwan provides a round-trip economy class flight ticket (Canada-Taiwan), room and board, local transportation, guides in Taiwan.
***Eligibility:
-Canadian citizens between the ages of 20 and 35 (Applicant must hold a Canadian passport; those who do not have a Canadian passport will not be considered).
-No previous travel sponsored by the R.O.C. (Taiwan) government to Taiwan
-Active interest in public affairs, politics, government, and international affairs
***Applications:
-Applications will be accepted from Feb. 12 to March 11, 2026 by Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Montreal. TECO, Montreal only accepts applications from QC, NB, NL or Nunavut. For applicants residing in other provinces, please contact the appropriate TECO branch office that serves your area. It is very important that you send your application to the right TECO branch office.
-Only selected candidates will be invited to an interview conducted by TECO, Montreal, and successful applicants will also be informed by TECO, Montreal.
-Selected participants must commit to full participation; absence in the program, unauthorized leave from the team and early departure will not be allowed.
-A medical certificate will be required of successful applicants.

3.Minimum of 2 recommendation letters (preferably from university professors)
4. Academic transcript
5. Essay
6. Award certificates (if any)
7. Copy of Canadian passport bio page
