At the CanWIN Global Summit organized by APFC, the second session focused on "Indigenous Women Entrepreneurship Spirit: Economic Reconciliation." Ms. Kung-Kien Xu, a young entrepreneur of the Amis tribe in Taiwan and a promoter of slow food culture, was invited as a speaker. She shared the stage with Indigenous female leaders from New Zealand, Australia, and Canada.
Ms. Hsu discussed her inspiration during her master's studies in Slow Food in Italy, emphasizing how she promotes Indigenous culture through slow food as a medium. Slow food principles of "Good, Clean, Fair" are aligned with preserving local cultures and biodiversity in food systems. In Taiwan, she promotes slow food lifestyles, particularly through the Slow Food Festival in Taitung, where consumers are transformed into co-producers, aiming for sustainable development and preserving indigenous cultures.
