DG Chen meets with these business elites of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of North America

The 36th session of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of North America Joint Meeting was successfully held in New York. After the meeting, elite members of the American business community traveled to Eastern Canada to visit friends and sightsee. Today, they arrived in Toronto, where they visited must-see attractions such as Niagara Falls and the CN Tower.
Director-General Jinling Chen of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Toronto, and Director Paul Lan of the TECO's Cultural Center, met with these business elites at the invitation of President of Taiwan Merchant Association of Toronto,Spencer Lee.
Director-General Chen expressed a warm welcome to the business elites visiting Toronto. She highlighted the close cooperation between Taiwan and Canada, noting the signing of the Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA) last year. She emphasized that Taiwanese businesses are a crucial bridge in the economic, trade, and diplomatic relations between Taiwan, the U.S., and Canada. She hopes that through their economic strength, Taiwan can gain more visibility on the global stage and successfully join the CPTPP, becoming an even stronger support for everyone.
