The 5th Taiwan Film Festival in Toronto - HOME features 11 outstanding films, each packed with brilliance. Our Director General , Jin-Ling Chen, attended the event tonight to support Taiwanese films, hoping that in the future, Taiwan films will frequently be shown in Toronto cinemas, enriching the city’s multicultural landscape with Taiwan's innovative and creative film arts.
A big thanks to Markham Councillor Isa Lee for joining us in supporting the Taiwan Film Festival.
Tonight’s opening film is Snow in Midsummer, and the closing film on 10/31 will be Grandma and Her Ghosts.

At the opening, 11 guests held posters of the films being shown, piecing them together to form the shape of Taiwan.
