DG Chen attends the Remembrance Day Ceremony held in front of the Ontario Legislative Assembly

Director-General Chen was invited to attend the Remembrance Day Ceremony held in front of the Ontario Legislative Assembly today. Together with Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor Edith Dumont, Premier Doug Ford, the Consuls General of over 20 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan, and hundreds of Ontario citizens, they honored the brave soldiers who gave their lives for world peace and freedom.

We will always remember the sacrifices of these heroes and reaffirm our commitment to peace at this moment. Taiwan hopes to join hands with like-minded democratic countries to work together to uphold peace and freedom across the Taiwan Strait and in the Indo-Pacific region.
