Embro Highland Games came back to Rev. Mackay’s hometown~ Zorra, Oxford County, Ontario

D.G. Jin-Ling Chen was invited to give remarks at the opening ceremony. The stories about Mackay’s achievements in Taiwan were displayed at the scene by Canadian Mackay Committee. The Taiwanese music and dance performance were presented on the stage by Taiwanese Canadian Community to pay tribute to Mackay and to celebrate 150 years of Canada-Taiwan friendship.
Embro Highland Games included Scottish traditional performances and competition such as bagpipes band, highland dance, pole tossed and weight lifting. The event attracted more than a thousand people to attend on Canada Day.
