Ausschreibung: Künstlerresidenz im Taipei Artist Village, Taipei 2019

Bewerben können sich ab sofort professionelle bildende Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus München und dem Münchner S-Bahnbereich.
Das Apartment der Kunst (München), das Kulturreferat der Landeshauptstadt München, das Goethe Institut Taipei und die Taipei Culture Foundation (Taipei Artist Village) bieten für eine/n Münchner Künstler/in eine dreimonatige Residenz in Taipei (Taipei Artist Village oder Taipei Treasure Hill) an. Der Aufenthalt in Taipei ist Teil eines Austauschprogramms zwischen München und Taipei, bei dem im Gegenzug einem Künstler / einer Künstlerin aus Taiwan ein Aufenthalt als artist-in-residence im Ebenböckhaus und eine Einzelausstellung im Apartment der Kunst in München ermöglicht werden.
Wir bieten:
Reisekosten für einen Flug (economy class) München – Taipei – München
Aufenthaltskosten in Taipei für drei Monate (pro Monat je 1.200 Euro)
Materialkosten in Höhe von 40.000 NT$ durch das TAV Taipei
Wohn/Arbeitsstudio
Ausstellung in Taipei (Taipei Artist Village) sowie ggfs. Unterstützung hierfür durch das Goethe Institut Taipei
Einzelausstellung im Apartment der Kunst, München (4 Wochen), die sich nach Möglichkeit aber nicht zwingend auf die in Taipei gemachten Erfahrungen beziehen sollte.

Jury und Entscheidungsverfahren
Eine Münchner Jury, bestehend aus Vertreter/innen des Kulturreferats, des Apartments der Kunst und des Goethe Instituts sowie zwei externen Expert/innen wählt drei Kandidat/innen aus und schickt diese Vorauswahl an das Taipei Artist Village, welches die Schlussauswahl trifft.

Art Residency Program in Taipei 2019
The Cultural Department of the state capital Munich, Goethe-Institute Taipei, the Apartment of Art and the Taipei Culture Foundation (Taipei Artist Village) are offering an art residency program for Munich artists in Taipei. The residency program will be a two-month stay in July / August 2017 and include solo exhibitions in the Taipei Artist Village and in the Apartment of Art in Munich. It is part of an exchange program between Munich and Taipei from 2017 to 2019 which enables a Taiwanese artist both a stay as an artist-in-residence in the Ebenböckhaus and a solo exhibition in the Apartment of Art in Munich.
Range: Cultural workers from all sectors of the visual arts (including design, film, sound/video, performance, photography) are encouraged to apply.
Time: April - June 2019 Location: TAV Taipei
Organizers: Cultural Department of the state capital Munich, Goethe-Institute Taipei, Apartment of Art and Taipei Culture Foundation (Taipei Artist Village)
Benefits of the Program: Financing of international arrival and departure costs (Munich – Taipei - Munich)
Provision of living subsidies in Taipei for 3 months (in the amount of 1200 euros per month)
Work space
Support for material by TAV: 40000 TWD
Exhibition in Taipei (Taipei Artist Village) and, if necessary, support through the Goethe-Institute Taipei
Solo exhibition in the Apartment of Art, Munich (4 weeks, September 2017) which should be referred to the experiences made in Taipei
