On behalf of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, the Taipei Representative Office in Denmark participated in Ferie for Alle 2013 held in Herning MCH Exhibition Center from February 22 to February 24, 2013. There were a total of 1,064 exhibitors from 36 different countries who participated in Scandinavia’s largest annual travel fair.
The Information Division, together with colleagues and overseas Taiwanese scholars and friends, were eager to promote Taiwan's culture and tourism. The theme, "Lantern Festival", highlighted unique Taiwanese traditions and attracted tourists from around the world.
In order to strengthen the impression of the Taiwan Pavilion, many activities were organized throughout the weekend. Activities included Taiwanese tea and snacks tasting, passing out information booklets about attractions in Taiwan and Taiwan imprinted gifts. A quiz about Taiwan was designed to engage the audience and 2 daily raffle drawings made the pavilion one of the most appealing and popular booths at the fair. The event effectively enhanced the visibility and marketing of Taiwan’s tourism industry.
