On April 24, Representative Janet Chang welcomed a delegation from Taipei Medical University. The delegation visited Finland’s premier institution, the University of Helsinki, and formalized a memorandum of cooperation, aiming to enhance collaboration in medical education and academic endeavors.
Representative Chang highlighted the increasingly close ties between Taiwan and Finland in recent years. Finland's higher education system is globally recognized for its excellence in teaching, research, and innovation, attracting students and scholars from around the world. We are delighted to witness the expansion of diverse educational and academic exchanges between Taiwan and Finland.
To further promote bilateral exchanges, the Taiwan government offers scholarships such as the "Taiwan-Europe Connectivity Scholarship," "Taiwan Scholarship," "Huayu Enrichment Scholarship," and "Taiwan Fellowship" for Finnish students and scholars. We anticipate that broadening bilateral collaborations will pave the way for a prosperous future of cooperation and development.
