On February 15, 2025, Representative Joseph Chow hosted a festive Lunar New Year BBQ at the Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM) in Fiji’s Centre for Agriculture Technology Transfer (CATT).
Members of the Taiwan Alumni Association—who have participated in workshops in Taiwan—joined the Taiwanese community in Fiji to welcome the Year of the Snake together!
TTM prepared an amazing spread of Taiwanese delicacies, including braised pork rice, stewed beef shank, pork buns, and marlin fish ball soup.
In his welcome speech, Representative Chow shared his New Year wishes and expressed gratitude to Director Bob Lu and TTM Leader Jerry Liao for strengthening Taiwan-Fiji relations. He also wished incoming TTM leader Tim Hsiao success in furthering collaboration in agriculture, fisheries, and medical fields between the two countries.
