2022 Taiwan Scholarship Program is Calling for Application

The Taiwan Scholarship Program is sponsored by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to encourage outstanding international students to undertake Bachelor/ Master/ PhD degree programs in Taiwan. A total of 8 scholarships are offered to citizens of Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Kosovo.

The benefits are tuition and miscellaneous fee subsidy up to NT$40,000 per semester plus a monthly stipend of NT$15,000 (approx. 475 euros, subject to exchange rate) for undergraduate, or NT$20,000 (approx. 635 euros, subject to exchange rate) for graduate recipient.

An applicant should apply for at least one study program at any Taiwanese university by the deadline set by the university. In addition, one should fill in the application form and collect supplemental documents and send them by post or submitted in person to the Taipei Representative Office in Hungary (address: Rákóczi street 1-3, Budapest 1088, Hungary）no later than April 19, 2022.
