All application documents must be submitted with an original copy and/or their photocopy listed below:
1. Visa application form with the applicant's signature .

You need to access the website ( https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw ) to fill out the GENERAL VISA application form online and print it out with the bar code . Please make sure to select the proper handling office "Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Tel Aviv" (you may check if the correct one had been selected by looking at the location title besides the QR code). Applications with other handling offices will be rejected.
2. An English health check certificate issued within the past 3 months if you apply for a resident visa/or visitor visa transfer to a resident visa in Taiwan (simply visitor visa applicants excluded), either by one of the accredited local hospitals ( https: //www.roc-taiwan.org/uploads/sites/20/2017/07/2017-Residency-Health-Check-Form.pdf ) or by a licensed foreign hospital or clinic. Documents in a language other than English or Chinese must be translated into either of these two. (no photocopy needed). And, for applying alien registration card (ARC) or transferring a visitor visa to a resident visa upon arrival in Taiwan, this health check is advisable to be certified in our office .

3. An original passport that is still valid for more than six months with empty pages for seal. And, a copy of the personal data or a local valid resident visa page of the passport is needed; if you are not a local person.

*Photo must be taken within the last six months, in color and with a white background.
5.a) Supporting original documents in English (depending on the individual situation; such as a letter of school admission/exchange program/volunteer/contract, job approved letter from the government, af ordinary invitation letter including issuer's letterhead, title, signature, office landline number from Taiwan companies, Certificate of relationship in between the visitors such as marriage, partnership, birth, etc.)
And, for applying alien registration card (ARC) or transferring a visitor visa to a resident visa upon arrival in Taiwan, the Certificate of relationship between the visitors is advisable to be certified in our office.

5.b) Employment certificate in English, if you apply business or employment visas. In addition, if you are a self-employed person then a proper certificate from Israel or business community, association etc. are required.

* An applicant who applies for a spouse resident visa should present a photocopy of the Israeli ID attachment paper and a certified English translation in which the marital status is updated along with their English marriage certificate (by Notary Public), or registration from the Ministry of Interior & certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the pandemic, government-approved letter is needed for both all applicants and their family members.

6. Police record/No criminal record (depending on the discretion of our office; normally it is needed for the resident visa applicants and visitor visas applicants are excluded. Israel Police authority will directly send it to the office after your request through this link: https://www.gov.il/he/departments/general/police_criminal_information_certificates ). Please make sure you are sending it to Taiwan's embassy in Israel.
And, for applying alien registration card (ARC) or transferring a visitor visa to a resident visa upon arrival in Taiwan, this document is advisable to be certified in our office.
7. Bank statement in English (depending on the individual situation; such as Jordanian/Palestinian Passport/Israeli travel document holders, business visa applications. Normally general visitor visa applicants are excluded ).

8. Others (such as an interview for Jordanian/Palestinian Passport/Israeli Travel Document Holders, depending on the individual situation), or additional requirements depending on individual cases.

* All applicants upon request for a visa must also provide the exact fee in cash/in person together with their documentation. Please be advised that our office may not be able to provide change, and does not accept credit cards.
* Visa processing time is 5 working days or 2 working days excluding the submitted day for an extra 50% charge. Times are subject to change during Covid-19 period and uncontrollable situations by our office.
