Taiwan Participates in International Travel Fair in Mumbai

On February 5, the Tourism Administration of Taiwan’s Ministry of Transportation and Communications, together with travel agencies, Taiwanese airlines, and cultural groups, participated in the Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) in Mumbai. Under the branding “TAIWAN–Waves of Wonder”and the theme “Taiwan Never Sleeps” , the Taiwan Pavilion showcased its distinctive tourism image. During the event, a traditional temple folklore performance, Guan Jiang Shou, along with the Sword Lion hand-painting activity, attracted hundreds of tourism professionals for exchanges and business discussions.
In his remarks, Director General Homer Chang of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in Mumbai noted that India and Taiwan have experienced rapid growth in trade, investment, education, technological innovation, and culture. Through joint efforts by public and private sectors, bilateral relations will continue to be deepened. Tourism exchange platforms such as OTM help enhance India–Taiwan tourism cooperation and create win-win results from business opportunities.
