Ambassador Michael Lin and Prime Minister Terrance Drew gave remarks at the official unveil of the designs for the new JNF General Hospital

Ambassador Michael Lin and Prime Minister Terrance Drew of Saint Kitts and Nevis attended the official unveil of the designs for the new JNF General Hospital on the evening of February 7. Ambassador Lin highlighted that the hospital will serve as a significant milestone in the enduring friendship between Taiwan and St. Kitts and Nevis. He reaffirmed Taiwan’s strong expertise and resources in the medical field and pledged continued cooperation with the nation to build a healthier and more prosperous future together.

In his remarks, Prime Minister Drew expressed gratitude to Taiwan and the Overseas Engineering & Construction Company (OECC) for their support and collaboration. He emphasized that once completed, the hospital will be resilient against hurricanes and equipped to address the challenges of climate change, while also generating employment opportunities for the local community.
