Ambassador Michael Lin Attends Donation Ceremony by Cao Zhong Zhi Foundation, Strengthening Taiwan–Saint Kitts and Nevis Healthcare Cooperation

On May 13, 2025, Ambassador Michael Lin attended a donation ceremony held at the Joseph N. France General Hospital, where the Cao Zhong Zhi Foundation donated wheelchairs and assistive devices to the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis. The event was also attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Health Dr. Terrance Drew, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health Curtis Martin, and Director of Health Institutions Dr. Jenson Morton.

The donation included 87 wheelchairs, 36 toilet chairs, and 64 walkers, which will help improve the delivery of healthcare services across the Federation. Prime Minister Drew expressed his appreciation for Taiwan’s longstanding support in the health sector and emphasized the strengthening of cooperation between medical institutions in both countries. He also renewed his call for Taiwan’s inclusion in the World Health Assembly (WHA), highlighting Taiwan’s medical expertise and its potential contributions to global health.
