On October 31, the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Taiwan Technical Mission visited Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport to bid farewell to four Taiwanese volunteers—Alicia Lin, Rose Hsu, Chichi Chuang, and Kimberly Su—expressing appreciation for their selfless service over the past year. Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture of St. Kitts and Nevis also attended the farewell and presented Certificates of Achievement to Alicia Lin and Rose Hsu in recognition of their contributions.
During their one-year service, the volunteers were assigned to different units. Alicia Lin and Rose Hsu supported technical cooperation projects with the Ministry of Agriculture; Chichi Chuang contributed to elderly care services on Nevis Island, providing administrative and community support; and Public Health Nutritionist volunteer Kimberly Su worked on community health and nutrition education, promoting healthy diets and public health awareness across the Federation.
The Embassy and Technical Mission expressed gratitude for the volunteers’ professionalism and dedication, noting that their contributions strengthened people-to-people exchanges, enhanced bilateral relations, and exemplified the close friendship between Taiwan and St. Kitts and Nevis.
