The Embassy extends its sincere appreciation to Permanent Secretary Curtis Martin, and by extension the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis, for speaking out at the 2026 World Health Assembly (WHA) in support of Taiwan's meaningful participation in the World Health Organization (WHO).
As Permanent Secretary Martin eloquently pointed out, recognizing Taiwan's solid global contributions and allowing its meaningful participation is both fair and essential to collective preparedness.
The Embassy highly values and sincerely welcomes this statement of support and will continue to work closely with the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis and other like-minded partners to advance global health governance and public health security.
