This year’s "Taiwan Women’s Power and Culture Night" will take place at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York at 18:00 Eastern Time on March 12 (at 6:00 Taipei Time, on March 13 / at 1:00 AM Kuwait Time, on March 13 ). The event, themed “Taiwan Main Stage: Celebrating Women’s Resilience and Progress,” will share Taiwan’s experiences and achievements in the field of gender equality through arts and culture, showcasing the development context of Taiwan’s democracy, freedom, and inclusive equality.
On the day of the event, Ambassador-at-Large Liu Po-Chun will share her personal experience as well as Taiwan's experience. There will also be a multimedia cross-disciplinary piano performance by pianist Lu Chia-Hui. The forum will be livestreamed simultaneously on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' YouTube and Facebook pages.
