To assist in cultivating public health professionals, Taiwan has increased extra number of scholarships by 10 globally this year, offering Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees programs in public health-related fields conducted entirely in English. MOFA Taiwan Scholarship – public health-related English programs
- The awardee list will be announced on the Embassy’s website on 30 June 2024.
- All application documents should be delivered to the Embassy by the deadline of Friday 19 April 2024 by 5:00pm; any delivery beyond that date or applications without all required documents will not be accepted. Please be informed that submitted documents will not be returned to applicants.
- The Embassy will interview qualified applicants, who will be notified by email/phone.
Notice:
- For applicants who have received MOFA Taiwan Scholarship or Taiwan ICDF scholarships before and would like to apply for the 2024 Scholarship, their previous graduation date in Taiwan and the date of return to Saint Lucia should be prior to 31 July 2023. Please attach a copy of the page containing port of entry stamps on the passport or other related proof when handing in the application to the Embassy. Applicants who have been granted MOFA Taiwan Scholarship before cannot be granted the same scholarship again.
- The applicant should be of Saint Lucia nationality. Previous scholarship recipients who have been disqualified by the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or the school are not eligible to apply again.

- Once completed, submit the online application/written application and the following documents to the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Saint Lucia:
**Please Note: The application will be open from now until Friday 19 April 2024 by 5:00pm.*
(1) A completed application form.
(2) A photocopy of their passport bio-data page or other documents that prove nationality.
(3) A certified copy of the highest-level diploma or certificate of equivalent educational level and an official complete grade transcript.
If issued by a foreign educational institution, these documents must be authenticated by an ROC diplomatic mission, or directly mailed by the foreign educational institution the applicant attended to the educational institution they plan to matriculate at (if these documents are in languages other than Chinese or English, a Chinese or an English translation should be provided).
(4) Students will be required to apply a public health-related English program. The acceptance letter, confirmation or note of reply or email from the educational institution must be provided to the Embassy.
(5) A photocopy of a TOEFL transcript, a certificate of English proficiency approved by the applicant’s government, or documents to certify that the applicant has graduated from a program taught in English. This does not apply to applicants whose official national language is English.
(6) Two recommendation letters.
(7) Police Clearance Letter (police records) / Certificate of Character
