The RMI Taiwanese Association held the Dragon Boat Festival Celebration Lunch Banquet at the Marshall Islands Resort on 1st June 2025, inviting the honorary members of Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), R.O.C.(Taiwan) and Taiwanese in the Marshall Islands, as well as staff of the ROC(Taiwan) Embassy, Taiwan Technical Mission and Taiwan Health Centre and their family members, totaling about 60 people, to celebrate the Festival. ROC(Taiwan) Minister Hank H. C. Liu presented Certificates of OCAC to Honorary members and made a remarks on behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Lin Chia-lung and Minister of OCAC Shiu Jia-Ching, wishing all Taiwanese compatriots in the RMI a happy holiday season, and urging them to continue to support the policies of the ROC(Taiwan) government and work together to promote the friendship between Taiwan and the RMI. The activity lasted about two hours in a festive atmosphere.
