14 Marshallese trainees successfully complete TaiwanICDF’s vocational training in Taiwan

On December 28, 2018, the Marshall Journal reports an article entitled “Marshallese trainees successfully complete training in Taiwan”, which tells the successful story of 14 Marshallese young men attending TaiwanICDF’s “2018 Vocational Training Project in the Pacific (Second Phrase)” held in Taiwan from October 25 to December 21, 2018.
Cooperation of vocational training between the ROC (Taiwan) and the RMI has been strong and proactive since the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1998. Each year Marshall Islands send its potential youth to Taiwan to receive various vocational training programs, most of which are implemented by the TaiwanICDF. The achievements of these programs are widely recognized by the Marshallese people and are expected to be revitalized in the future.
