Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture jointly organized the "New Southbound Exchange Program for Agricultural Youth Ambassadors 2024" and selected 12 young people with expertise in agriculture, forestry, fishery and animal husbandry to visit Malaysia for 7 days starting from August 26. Through the in-depth experience of agricultural experts from the two countries, communicate and jointly build agricultural capabilities.
The group members expressed great interest in learning about Malaysia’s experience in growing tropical fruits. Especially Taiwan can learn from Malaysia to pick the more suitable varieties under the challenge of climate change. At the same time, this agricultural youth ambassador group also brought Taiwan agricultural technology and new knowledge to share with local farmers. This is an excellent opportunities and inspiration for the new generation of farmers and agricultural enterprises. Let us take a look at the on-site visit of this group to Sekinchan. The seeds of the Taiwan-Malaysia partnership are here!
