3 Taiwanese companies gather in Malaysia to showcase the latest R&D products and services in highly concentrated scientific Chinese medicine, traditional herbal medicine, and health supplements, paving the way for greater business opportunities!
James Chang, the Director of Economic Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, noted that Malaysia and Taiwan share a common tradition of using herbal products for preventive health care and pain relief. Chinese medicine clinics and herbal shops are widespread across Malaysia, with an estimated 5,000 to 6,000 herbal shops and over 8,000 Chinese medicine practitioners nationwide.
In addition, the delegation visited Malaysia's Ministry of Health's Traditional and Complementary Medicine Division and the Federation of Chinese Physicians and Acupuncturists Association of Malaysia, fostering exchanges and collaboration within the TCM industry.
